About us

Founder and pastry chef Leah Moore received a Pastry Arts certification from the French Culinary Institute in New York, and has over a decade of experience in restaurants, bakeries, and catering. After having two small boys, and wanting a more flexible schedule, she started Hazelnut Dessert Co. as a way to continue doing what she loves on a more personalized level. Now she enjoys working directly with clients to create desserts for every occasion imaginable, whether it's pies for Thanksgiving dinner or bite sized treats for a gorgeous wedding display.
